I have no idea what exactly this tree is. I got it a couple of years ago at a plant sale because it had such beautiful flowers. It blooms for about a month every spring. Offshoots of it have started popping up in the surrounding flower bed. I was debating what to do with them when I noticed they they were covered in thorns. Why is it the pretty ones always have thorns?
